nnPosition Description: Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) needed for pediatric respiratory care in the neonatal intensive care unit.
nCertifications and Education: Georgia Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license, NBRC - Respiratory Care Therapist certification, and required American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificates.
nSchedule: Night shifts from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
nRequired Qualifications: At least 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy within the specialty, Georgia RRT license, NBRC - RRT credential, and current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
nAdditional Information: Must work 2 major holidays of the 3 (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve). No local candidates within 50 miles.
nSubmission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to provide necessary certifications and references upon request.
