Job Description
nThe Respiratory Therapist will provide care in a 40-bed Level IV NICU, floating between neonatal and pediatric units as needed. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level 3 NICU or PICU. The role involves working with critically ill and extremely premature infants and children.
Responsibilities
n Perform respiratory procedures including Bubble CPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP, Intubation Assist, and Extubation.
Administer treatments and monitor patient responses in both NICU and pediatric settings.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
n Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
n 1+ years of experience in a Level 3 NICU or PICU.
Current Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License.
Valid certifications: RRT, BLS, NRP required; PALS preferred.
