Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a NICU travel position offering night shift hours and requiring NICU experience preferred.
Details
NICU unit within Respiratory Therapy department at a 502-bed facility
Patient ratio of 10:1
Uses Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators
Charts in Meditech EMR
Night shift hours from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM
13-week assignment length
Typical procedures include breathing treatments and ventilator assessments
Requirements
Active RRT license required if applicable
Minimum 6 months of current RRT experience within the last 6 months
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
NBRC credential required
Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
NICU/PEDS experience preferred
Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
Join a collaborative team with dedicated charge RTs and clinical staff on both day and night shifts
Ideal candidates are high-energy, passionate about critical care, and prioritize patient care experience
Does not accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility
