Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a Level IV NICU night shift position at an academic teaching hospital, requiring RRT certification and 1+ years of Level 3+ NICU or PICU experience.
Details
40-bed Level IV NICU at an academic teaching hospital
May float between neonatal and pediatric units based on facility need
Night shift, 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
No on-call requirement
Epic charting experience preferred
Scrubs provided
Requirements
Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required if applicable
RRT, BLS, and NRP certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level 3 or higher NICU or 1+ year PICU experience
Experience with Bubble CPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP, extubation, and intubation assist
PA fingerprints and Childline clearance required, with results from within 12 months of start date
Additional Information
Provide respiratory care to critically ill and extremely premature infants in the region's only Level IV NICU with on-site neonatal surgery and 24/7 neonatology coverage

Accepts local candidates within 50 miles at a reduced local rate
All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application; block scheduling cannot be accommodated
Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing and fingerprinting within 1 week of signing
