Job Summary:
nRespiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatrics (PEDS) is needed in a healthcare facility in Ottumwa, Iowa. This position involves providing respiratory care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients, including neonates, with a focus on neonatal and pediatric experience. The assignment begins on 10/12/2026 and concludes on 12/07/2026, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts during the day.
nJob Details:
nnSchedule: 12-hour shifts (Day) with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
nRequired Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. 1-2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably with neonatal and pediatrics.
nPreferred Qualifications: Experience with ventilators such as VOCSN ventilators and V60 bipap devices.
nAdditional Information: The role involves floating within a 25-mile radius of the facility as needed. Candidates must have completed the application process for the state of Iowa, including background checks and mandatory reporter certifications. Monday or Tuesday start dates are accepted.
