Job Summary
nRespiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position is available for a healthcare professional in the Northwest region. This contract role requires providing specialized cardiopulmonary services in a fast-paced environment. The Respiratory Therapist will support inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and intensive care units, ensuring patient safety and adherence to medical protocols. The position offers an opportunity to work nights and gain valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare setting.
nJob Details
nnSchedule: Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 36 hours per week
nRequired Qualifications: Certification or registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care, valid BLS and ACLS certifications, minimum of ICU, general floors, and emergency department experience, including NICU and Pediatric experience to cover the emergency department.
nPreferred Qualifications: Not specified
nFloat: Float rotation may be required.
nAdditional Information: The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivering medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, maintaining airways, ventilator management, intubations, and blood gases. The role entails providing timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients according to established protocols and department policies. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/26/2026 and conclude on 01/25/2027.
