Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – Austell, Georgia, United States. This travel, temporary assignment begins 10/19/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,678 to $1,770 per week. Guaranteed 36 hours per week. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts. Setting: hospital environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory care per physician orders and treatment plans, including medication administration as indicated.
- Manage ventilator support and protocol-driven respiratory therapies in critical care and other units as assigned.
- Monitor patient status, interpret readings, and adjust therapies based on evaluative data.
- Educate patients and families about respiratory therapies, equipment, and safety considerations.
- Coordinate activities with the healthcare team and participate in staff development and on-boarding activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards.
Requirements
- Experience delivering respiratory care in critical care environments.
- Proficiency in ventilator management and protocol-based care.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, independent decision-making, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills for patient, family, and multidisciplinary team education.
- Ability to work nights on a 12-hour shift schedule in a travel assignment.
