Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) position in a hospital setting in Cumming, GA, starting 10/19/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $1,478 to $1,542, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 12-hour nights on a 12x3 schedule (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with every-other weekend coverage and holiday requirements.

Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory care to neonatal and NICU patients under physician orders, including assessment, planning, and implementation of therapy
- Administer ventilator support, suctioning, nebulized medications, chest physiotherapy, and other prescribed modalities
- Monitor patient response, record data, interpret clinical information, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
- Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment, ensure proper infection control, and troubleshoot devices as needed
- Document all care accurately in patient records and follow hospital policies and standards
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and participate in handoffs during shift changes
Requirements
- Active Georgia Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure (GA RRT)
- NBRC-RRT credential
- NRP certification; Neonatal delivery experience
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a respiratory care specialty, with NICU/neonatal focus
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting and meet holiday/weekend coverage requirements
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location
