Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift hospital position requiring at least one year of adult respiratory care experience.
Details
Respiratory Therapy department in a 368-bed hospital
6 to 7 staff per shift, including 1 supervisor and 5-6 RTs
Patient ratios of 35-45 UOS
Uses Servo, Hamilton, and Airvo equipment
Meditech EMR
Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Weekend rotation every other weekend
No call requirements
Requirements
RRT or CRT certification required
Texas RCP license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of adult respiratory care experience required within the last 6 months
ACLS certification required
NRP certification required if caring for neonates
NICU experience preferred
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
One professional reference required
No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
Join a team-oriented respiratory therapy staff
Dress code includes olive green scrub top and black scrub pants
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
