Job description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring 2+ years of RRT experience and an active Ohio RRT license.
Job Details
• Emergency Department RRT position at a hospital respiratory department,
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30,
• Weekend work as needed,
• May float to other facilities within the health system as needed,
Job Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT required,
• Active Ohio RRT license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable),
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand,
• BLS certification required, active and in hand,
• ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required,
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required,
Additional Information
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually,
• Facility is smoke-free and nicotine-free with no exceptions,
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only,
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only,
• Background check findings of any kind will be reviewed by the facility; license hits are not accepted,
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday,
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate,
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
