Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift hospital-wide assignment requiring ALS, BLS, and NRP certifications and 2+ years of experience.
Details
Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics department covering the entire hospital
Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Works every other weekend
Block scheduling allowed
Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience required, with 1 year in the specialty preferred
ALS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
License required if applicable
Active license required for consideration, no pending licenses accepted
Additional Information
Position involves frequent ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
Routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
Facility operates 24/7, 365 days a year, requiring flexibility for rotating shifts, holidays, and inclement weather coverage
On-call availability required
Must be able to work at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract term
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates within 75 miles accepted at a reduced rate
