Job description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a NICU night shift position requiring at least 2 years of NICU RT experience.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of previous NICU RT experience required
Completion of at least 1 travel contract required
State license required if applicable
Epic experience preferred
Compact license accepted
One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required
Responsibilities
Respiratory Therapy unit in a NICU-only setting, no adult patients
Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements
May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
EMR: Epic
Contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary team managing patient care
Travelers may be required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
Limited time-off requests permitted during peak holiday periods
Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may be ineligible for consideration
Must have a taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility
