Job description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position requiring 3+ years of current RRT experience at a teaching hospital.
Job Details
• Respiratory Therapy unit at a teaching hospital,
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,
• Every other weekend required,
• Holiday coverage required if scheduled/needed, including two full holiday blocks (Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year periods),
• No on-call or call-back requirements,
Job Requirements
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRTs will not be considered,
• Minimum 3 years of current RRT experience required,
• Massachusetts RRT license required if applicable,
• Active NBRC certification required,
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required,
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred,
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred,
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required,
• Must have a personal vehicle for transportation to and from the assignment,
Additional Information
• Work as part of the respiratory therapy team providing patient care across a full continuum of medical specialties,
• Facility does not consider travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility,
• Permanent address must be provided during profile submission,
• All time off requests must be submitted and approved at the time of profile submission; requests made after offer will not be approved,
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, with fewer days preferred,
• Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work specified holiday blocks if scheduled
