Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with experience across outpatient, ICU, ED, Med/Surg, Pediatrics, and OB settings for a 13-week hospital assignment.
Details
Work across multiple departments including outpatient, med/surg, ICU, pediatrics, OB, and ED
Outpatient duties may include PFTs, Holter monitors/ZioPatches, telemedicine with pulmonary physician, home sleep study instruction, and stress tests
Inpatient duties include high-risk deliveries and c-sections in OB
Rotating 12-hour shifts covering both days and nights
Rotating weekend shifts required
On-call responsibilities overnight from 7p-6a
36 hours per week expected schedule
Requirements
Current RRT or CRT credential
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Experience across all age ranges, from neonates to adults
ICU, ER, Med/Surg, Peds, and L&D experience with neonate exposure preferred
COVID and flu vaccinations required
SD state license required if applicable
Additional Information
Perform respiratory therapy services across a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient settings
Support high-risk OB deliveries and surgical procedures
Training available for holter/zio monitor setup, telemedicine, and home sleep study equipment if not already experienced
Blocked scheduling and specific scheduling requests are not permitted
Prior Avera or Sanford permanent employees are not eligible for this position
