Job description
American Traveler is hiring an RN - Acute Dialysis to serve a hospital community on Nantucket, requiring an active MA RN license and BLS certification.
Requirements
Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted)
Primary source verification of license required within 30 days of start date via NURSYS and BON
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Responsibilities
Dialysis unit within a hospital serving a year-round island community of 15,000+ residents and up to 100,000 seasonal visitors
Variable shift schedule generally starting at 5:30 AM, with some days extending to mid-morning or late afternoon due to extra patient treatments
Works 4 to 5 days per week with Sundays off
Uses Epic for charting
Shared housing provided at no cost
Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to be considered for standard travel rate
Two professional references required at time of consideration
RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
