Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a CA RN license and ACLS certification.
Requirements
Active CA RN license required
Current BLS certification (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) required
Current ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required
Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab specialty experience required, with recent experience within the last 3 months
BSN preferred
Acute care facility experience preferred
No prior adverse action or restriction on nursing license permitted
Responsibilities
Cath Lab unit within an acute care hospital setting
Day shift schedule, , working 36 or 48 hours per week
Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients following established standards and the nursing process
Supervises and directs nursing staff activities while coordinating care with other disciplines
Collects and analyzes patient data to determine diagnoses, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes
Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and effective care
Participates in discharge planning to support continuity of care
Provides patient and family education as part of care delivery
Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment, subject to medical or religious exemptions
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction
