Job description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Non-Invasive Cardiology stepdown unit requiring 2+ years of experience and an active IL RN license.
Requirements
Active IL RN license required
Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
BSN not required
Responsibilities
Work in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Unit, a stepdown unit within an acute care, Level 2 trauma hospital
Care for patients undergoing heart function tests and diagnostic procedures including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, heart monitors, and cardiac CTs
Provide both inpatient and outpatient testing and procedures
Collaborate closely with cardiologists and a multidisciplinary care team
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
On-call required every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 7am-12pm)
Uses EPIC EMR system
Join a specialized cardiac diagnostic team supporting both inpatient and outpatient services
