Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a CVICU night shift position requiring 18 months of recent CVICU experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) of a hospital setting

Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross)

Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required, preferably within one location

Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience required (travel experience accepted)

One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)

Reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only

Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both

Locals accepted at the same bill rate

Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date

Background check hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility, but open cases will not be accepted

License hits are not accepted by the facility
