Description
American Traveler is hiring a CVICU RN for a night shift position requiring Impella, IABP, and LVAD experience.
Details
Cardiac ICU caring for both cardiac medical ICU patients and cardiac/thoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients
2:1 patient ratios including patients with devices such as Impella, IABP, LVAD, and NxStage
Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
13-week assignment
Requirements
Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
Minimum 1 year of experience required
Required experience with Impella, IABP, and LVAD devices
NxStage experience preferred
Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
Provide critical care nursing for both cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients
Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced rate under the radius rule
