Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Case Management RN for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring WA RN licensure and at least 1 year of care coordination experience.
Details
Acute hospital setting within the Case Management department
Level II Trauma Center campus with 571 total staffed beds across sister campuses
Patient ratio of approximately 1:25-30
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Requires working every other weekend
Float required between Colby and Pacific campuses, less than 2 miles apart
Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
Active WA RN license or compact license required, must be in hand at submission
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
Discharge planning and care coordination experience required
Diverse case management experience preferred, including Med Surg, LLOS, and ED
Epic EMR experience required
Two professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years, may include Charge RNs or Leads
Additional Information
Responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, DME ordering, and plan of care development within a case management/utilization review framework
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application; post-submission requests may not be granted
Local candidates are not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility for standard travel rate eligibility
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Scrubs of any color are permitted except reddish-orange
Parking is provided at no cost by the facility
