Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Case Management RN for an 8-hour day shift position requiring 2 years of acute care case management experience and prior travel assignment experience.
Requirements
Active FL or Compact RN license required (recent Nursys report required)
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of case management experience in an acute care setting required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Nursing degree accreditation must be documented, or candidate must have 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
Responsibilities
Works in the Emergency Department supporting a readmission reduction initiative
8hr day shift, 11a-7p, 5 shifts per week
Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
Perform case management duties supporting a hospital readmission reduction initiative
Travelers are expected to fully integrate and function as core staff
Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of residency
Candidates must secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from outside the radius
All requested time off must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission
Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person attendance required for badge and ID processing
Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
