Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for a 10-week assignment requiring MA licensure, BSN, and CCM certification.
Requirements
Active MA RN license required
BLS certification required
BSN required
CCM certification required
3-5 years of RN experience required
Acute care experience required
Case Management/Utilization Review experience including care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, and DME ordering
Familiarity with CMS and HIPAA regulatory guidelines
Epic charting experience preferred
Responsibilities
Case Management position primarily on an orthopedic unit within an acute care hospital
Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 5x8 hours per week
Every 3rd weekend required
Uses Epic for charting
Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations; must be able to work all 7 days as scheduled
Responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, and ordering durable medical equipment
Must complete a Pass/Fail EKG (Tele) test during orientation with an 80% passing score and only one attempt allowed
Must complete a Pass/Fail Medication exam at orientation
Additional compliance modules required pre-start and during orientation, with annual renewal
Locals accepted with the same bill rate within a 200-mile radius
Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system
Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review, but no RTO is allowed during the first week
