Job description
American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a night shift travel position requiring active AZ or compact RN license, ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
Requirements
Active AZ or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with 1+ years in the ER specialty
Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC
Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months
Valid driver's license required for consideration
US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
Responsibilities
Emergency Services unit with 23 beds
Night shift, 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
13-week assignment
Patient ratio of 4:1
May float as needed
EMR: MedHost EDIS
Black scrubs required
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
RTO requests must be less than 1 week
Labor Day is a required holiday with RTO blackout
Maximum RTO of 1 weekend
Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
