Job description
American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a 12-bed emergency department requiring 1+ years of ER experience and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Requirements
Active IN or compact RN license required
Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
Responsibilities
Acute care setting in a 12-bed Emergency Room
Treats a wide variety of cases including chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, stroke‑like symptoms, fractures, and motor vehicle accidents
Uses Cerner EMR
Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
No on‑call requirements
Floating not required
Provide emergency care to patients presenting with a broad range of acute conditions
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility for travel rate eligibility, with reduced pay rate for those living 50-100 miles away
Candidates residing within 50 miles will not be accepted
