Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring an active MI license and Level I Trauma Center experience.
Requirements
Active Michigan RN license required
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC, CPI
2 years of ER experience preferred, including Level I Trauma experience
Supervisor-level references required
Proof of flu vaccination required for consideration
Responsibilities
Work in a combined Adult/Pediatric General Emergency Department
Level I Trauma Center environment
Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30
13-week assignment
Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
No call requirements
No floating required, though travelers may float first if needed
Epic charting system preferred
Provide emergency nursing care to a combined adult and pediatric patient population in a Level I Trauma Center
Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
No RTO permitted for Christmas holiday, one holiday day may be requested
Maximum of 10 RTO days allowed during the assignment
Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions
Previous Bronson travelers may return after 6 months; previous permanent staff may return after 1 year
