Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure and Epic experience.
Requirements
Active CA RN license required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Minimum three years of ER experience required
BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital Emergency Department
Evening shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week
Epic experience required
Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, humane, and caring treatment
Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as travelers
Required vaccinations per facility policy
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
