Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position on night shift, requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
Requirements
Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required
Skilled in IV administration, critical care, and drips
ER and critical care experience preferred
Responsibilities
Work in a freestanding Emergency Department with 11 beds
Patient ratio of 4:1
Night shift schedule (7p-7a)
Rotating weekend requirements
No on-call responsibilities
Rare floating to Henderson ED
Uses Paragon EHR
Facility is a Joint Commission accredited Duke Lifepoint Hospital with an 'A' LeapFrog Hospital Safety Rating
Region's largest and most comprehensive ED with an advanced ICU and PCU
Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
