Job description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active MA RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Requirements
Active MA RN license required upon start, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon start (AHA preferred)
Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start and upon expiration
Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
Responsibilities
Emergency Department setting at a hospital serving an island community
36 hours per week on rotating shifts
13-week assignment length
Uses Epic for charting
Shared housing provided at no cost
Care for a year-round population of 15,000+ residents plus up to 100,000 seasonal visitors annually
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Local candidates with permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston may be considered at a reduced rate
Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
