Job description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active Oregon RN license and ACLS certification.
Requirements
Active RN license issued by the state of Oregon required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Minimum three years of recent ER experience required
BSN preferred
Acute care facility experience preferred
No prior adverse action on license accepted
Responsibilities
Work in the Emergency Department of a critical access medical center
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week contract assignment
Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans
Implement care plans and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to maintain a safe, healing environment
Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
Appropriately delegate duties and coordinate healthcare team responsibilities
Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
No radius restriction applies, and local candidates receive the same pay rate as travelers
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
Candidates can only be submitted to one facility within the Adventist Health system at a time
