Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring critical care experience and TX or compact RN licensure.
Requirements
Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
Minimum 2 years of recent critical care experience required
Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
Responsibilities
Work in a 27-bed Intensive Care Unit
Patient ratio of 2:1 to 3-4:1 depending on acuity
Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM
Call may be required
Float to Stepdown unit as needed
Uses MEDHOST EMR system
Navy scrubs required
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
RTO requests must be less than 1 week
Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
