Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring conscious sedation skills and ACLS certification.
Details
Work in the Interventional Radiology department located on the ground floor
Care for patients undergoing invasive interventional radiology procedures
1:1 patient to RN ratio
Uses Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ ultrasound equipment
Documents in EPIC EMR
Schedule options include 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour day shifts
Participates in an on-call rotation with 5 other RNs
No floating required
Requirements
Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
ACLS certification required
Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
Comfortable performing conscious sedation under direct supervision of a radiologist
Experience working in interventional radiology or Cath Lab setting preferred
Background in ED or ICU setting preferred
Additional Information
Work collaboratively with technologists and RNs to care for interventional radiology patients
Confident, team-oriented personality is a strong fit for this role
Monitor patient vitals during invasive procedures
Light blue surgical scrubs are supplied by the facility
Computer-based training and orientation completed prior to starting clinical work
Local candidates are accepted at a reduced bill rate within a 50-mile radius
