Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab RN for a Magnet-designated acute care hospital requiring 2 years of lab experience and CA RN licensure.
Details
Work in the Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab department of a 426-bed acute care Magnet hospital
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
On-call required approximately 7 days per month, including 1 weekend per month (Fri-Sun PM) plus 1 day per week
Uses Epic for charting
Royal blue scrubs required for RNs
Requirements
Active CA RN license required (must be in hand at time of consideration, no pending licenses accepted)
Minimum 2 years of experience in an IR or Cath Lab setting, including in a 2-room lab within a 250-bed facility
Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES or CCI RCIS, and NIHSS
Epic experience required for IR RNs; highly preferred for Cath Lab RNs
Procedural sedation skills required
Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years, within a comparable specialty/setting
Additional Information
Provide nursing care for interventional radiology and/or cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, vascular and neurological studies, and procedural sedation monitoring
Free parking provided on-site
May be required to float between sister facilities as needed
First-time travelers accepted only if they have at least 2 years of lab experience (hard requirement)
Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
Former Providence employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
RTO requests must be submitted upfront at the time of consideration; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
