Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 3 years of L&D experience and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring certification.
Details
Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
Patient population includes females of childbearing age, from 17 weeks gestation through delivery
Handles admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, and both vaginal and C-section deliveries
Performs scheduled procedures including C-sections, external cephalic versions, and occasional cerclage
Manages triage issues on the unit
Uses Fetal Monitors for patient monitoring
Charts using Cerner and Fetalink documentation systems
Night shift schedule with 3x 12-hour shifts per week
Requirements
Active SC or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
BSN highly desired
Minimum 3 years of L&D experience required
Minimum 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in the specialty area required
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring
AHA-issued certifications only
Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
Additional Information
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
