Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and a CO or compact RN license.
Details
Work in a 19-room Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit
Patient ratio of 1:2
Rotating day and night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00-19:00 and 19:00-7:00
Weekend shifts required per unit needs
On-call responsibilities required per unit needs
Float required within the Women and Infant unit and possibly within the metro region per facility needs
Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
Active RN license (CO state or compact) required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
Previous travel experience preferred
Epic charting experience preferred
Teaching hospital experience preferred
Additional Information
Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care including antepartum, delivery, and postpartum support
Navy scrub color required
Facility performs a range of high-risk and standard deliveries
First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates in any capacity are not eligible
Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during high-demand times
Blocked scheduling requests are not permitted
Completion of facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment
Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility may be eligible for a different bill rate

The $2,423 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
