Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring NY licensure and advanced fetal monitoring certification.
Requirements
Active NY RN license required
BLS, ACLS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications required
NRP certification required upon hire
Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
BSN not required
Responsibilities
Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of an acute care, Level 2 trauma facility
Includes a dedicated birthing center with private labor/delivery/recovery rooms, post-partum rooms, triage rooms, and operating rooms for cesarean delivery
Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit available for advanced newborn care
Uses EPIC EMR
Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 12-hour shifts
Weekends and holidays required as needed
36 guaranteed hours per week
Provide skilled maternity care to mothers and newborns in a nurturing, safe, and comfortable environment

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront with candidate profile
No exceptions permitted for late RTO requests
