Job description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 1-2 years of L&D experience and NY RN licensure.
Requirements
Active and clear NY RN license required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
1-2 years of L&D RN experience required
3+ years of L&D experience with OR circulating experience preferred
EPIC experience required
Responsibilities
Labor and Delivery department within a High Risk Regional Perinatal Center
Unit averages 10+ births per day
21 labor beds, 2 triage, 2 same day admit, 3 OR, and 4 bed PACU
Nurse to patient ratio strives for 1:2, varying by assignment
Patients remain in L&D for 2 hours of recovery before transfer to the PP unit
Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7p-7a)
Every other weekend required
No blocked scheduling
Provide labor and delivery nursing care within a high-acuity, high-volume perinatal setting
OR circulating experience preferred
Scrubs provided on unit via scrub machine
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be eligible for local rate consideration
