Job description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring a CO or compact RN license and charge nurse experience.
Requirements
Active CO or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
RN Charge experience required
Current certifications required: NRP, BLS, ACLS, and STABLE
Flu vaccine required by October 2026, no exemptions
Documentation required for consideration: resume, Nursys license verification, NRP and STABLE certificates, and skills sheet
Responsibilities
Family Birth Place unit providing L&D, OR, PACU, and postpartum couplet care
Approximately 60-80+ deliveries per month
Cares for babies 32 weeks gestation and up
12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends
Call rotation of approximately one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks
Join a collaborative team delivering evidence-based, compassionate care to patients and families
Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility with no exceptions for local candidates
Facility offers housing available for rent directly to travelers
Candidates with limited requested time off are preferred given anticipated increase in delivery volume
