Job description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2 years of experience, a CO or compact RN license, and AWHONN Intermediate certification.
Requirements
Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate
C-EFM certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
Skills in Labor & Delivery, Level I Nursery, and Mother/Baby settings
Responsibilities
Work in a Labor and Delivery/Birth Center unit with 15 staffed beds
Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts
Weekend shifts required per unit needs
On-call requirement of 1 day every 6 weeks
Open to floating across the North region within the Women & Infant service line
Uses EPIC charting system
Scrubs provided
Provide nursing care within a Labor and Delivery/Birth Center setting
Facility-specific modules must be completed within the first week of assignment, averaging 4 hours
First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate if residing within 75 miles of facility
Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during high-census times
Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or affiliates must disclose prior employment for eligibility review
Return travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
