Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/Med Surg position requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and the ability to float to Med Surg.
Requirements
Active Montana RN license or compact license required
Minimum 3 years of experience required
Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE
Experience in Labor & Delivery required
Med Surg floating capability required
Responsibilities
Primarily works as an OB RN in Labor & Delivery with required floating to the Med Surg floor when OB is closed
Day shift schedule with (3) 12-hour shifts per week
13-week assignment
Monitors maternal and fetal well-being and manages labor progression
Assists with deliveries and responds to obstetric emergencies
Administers medications and interprets fetal monitoring strips
Performs cervical exams within scope of practice
Prepares patients for operative deliveries
Provides postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families
