Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring Level 1 experience and active Michigan licensure.
Requirements
Active Michigan (MI) RN license required at time of submission
Compact licenses not accepted
Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery with Level 1 experience required
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN
Cannot be working another job concurrently with this assignment
Responsibilities
Family Birthing Unit within a 288-bed tertiary teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center
Cares for labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery patients with Level 1 experience required
Night shift schedule (12-hour shifts)
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements
Must reside within a 35-mile radius to qualify for local traveler status, which reduces travel pay rate by 10%
No special schedule requests accommodated
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Maximum of 5 days RTO can be requested
Candidates requesting more than 7 days off or more than 50% of holidays off may experience delayed processing
