Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a High Risk OB position requiring labor and delivery, c-section, and magnesium drip experience.
Details
Work in a 25-bed High Risk OB unit within a Women's and Children's building
Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 6:1 depending on acuity
Charge nurse/CNC coverage each shift with unit secretary support when available
Uses Connect and Expanse documentation systems
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Floating required to OB ED, Mother Baby, and Labor and Delivery units
Unit performs c-sections, vaginal deliveries, and bereavement care
Requirements
Active TN or compact RN license required
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
High risk antepartum, labor and delivery, and c-section experience required
Experience with magnesium drips and circulating c-sections required
GYN experience required
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
One professional reference required
Additional Information
Care for high risk obstetric patients including antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum populations
Required to wear navy blue, seal blue, or grey scrubs
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
