Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics position requiring an active CA RN license and NRP certification.
Requirements
Active CA RN license required
Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
Current NRP certification required
BSN preferred
Acute care facility experience preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty, with recent experience within the last 3 months
No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
Responsibilities
Work in the Obstetrics Acute unit of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week contract assignment
Deliver coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient or group of patients following established standards and the nursing process
Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes
Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and compassionate care
Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
Provide patient and family education alongside the treatment team
Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
Local candidates accepted with no radius rule, and local rates match travel rates
Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
