Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift travel position requiring 2+ years of recent acute L&D experience and fetal monitoring, ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
Details
Located in the Birth Center at a teaching hospital in Kennewick, WA
Labor and Delivery unit with 6 labor rooms, 11 mother/baby rooms, and 3 triage beds
Adult OB patient population with a volume of approximately 110 deliveries per month
Uses Centricity and Paragon EHR systems
Night shift schedule, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
36 guaranteed weekly hours with 48 weekend hours per month, working every other weekend
No call requirements
Floating required to Mother/Baby unit
Requirements
Active WA or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent acute L&D experience required
Required certifications: Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, BLS, and NRP
OR circulation and mother/baby experience required
Triage experience preferred but not required
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
AHA certifications required
Additional Information
Provide direct patient care within a busy Labor and Delivery unit supporting a high delivery volume
Flexibility and strong communication skills are essential for this role
Scrub colors are blue and blue/green
Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
First-time travelers may be considered for this role
