Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 2+ years of circulating experience and active MA RN licensure.
Requirements
Active MA RN license required (temporary license accepted)
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
Circulating experience required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
Recent EFM certification at least intermediate level required
Epic EMR experience required
Medical and religious COVID exemptions accepted if documentation provided at time of consideration
Responsibilities
Work in the Birthing Unit of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule with flexible hours of 36, 40, or 48 hours per week
36-hour schedule consists of 3x12-hour night shifts from 7pm-7:30am
40-hour schedule consists of 2x12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am) plus 2x8-hour shifts
No on-call responsibilities
Uses Epic EMR
Provide nursing care in the Labor and Delivery/Birthing Unit
Preferred but not required certifications include ALSO (Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics), NCC Perinatal Certifications (Maternal Newborn Nursing Level I, Postpartum or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing), and First Latch breastfeeding certification
Blue scrubs recommended though no strict color requirement
No more than 7 days of RTO allowed during the assignment
Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within 50 miles of the facility
Former permanent staff are not eligible to return as travelers at this facility
