Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Lead – Medical ICU (MICU) to provide unit-based leadership in a high-acuity setting. This role partners closely with leadership and clinical teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes, staff coordination, and a strong culture of safety and quality.

Shift: Day Shift
Hours: 12-hour shifts
Weekly: 36 hours

Key Responsibilities
Provide unit-based leadership in the MICU
Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary staff
Coordinate patient care plans with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Ensure patient safety, quality outcomes, and high satisfaction
Participate in staffing decisions, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
Address patient care issues and improve overall patient experience
Support staff development, training, and performance coaching
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required)
Supervisory experience or strong leadership skills (required)
5+ years clinical experience (preferred)
Master’s Degree (preferred)
Certifications
BLS (required)
ACLS (required)
TNCC (required)
Additional specialty or leadership certifications (preferred)
High-acuity Medical ICU setting
Leadership role with both clinical and administrative responsibilities
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Compliance Requirements
Must meet vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
Participation in E-Verify required
Adherence to all patient safety, regulatory, and organizational standards
