Job description
American Traveler is hiring an interim Director of Nursing for a long-term care setting, requiring an active MN RN license, BSN, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Active MN RN license required
BSN required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
Valid driver's license required for consideration
Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Responsibilities
Interim Director of Nursing role within the RNC unit of a post-acute long-term care facility
Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Will need to work the floor as needed to cover shifts
Uses a facility-specific computerized charting system
Serve as interim DON, overseeing nursing operations and providing leadership support to the unit
Must reside within an 80-mile radius of the facility
Local candidates accepted at a lower pay rate
2-week notice required for cancellation
