Prefer a unit where patient ratios let you focus on quality care? Take your Med-Surg skills to Arizona for a 16-week contract caring for both adult and pediatric patients.

Night shift: 12-hour shifts
Excellent patient ratios: Typically 4:1, with a maximum of 5:1 for non-COVID patients
Adult and pediatric experience: Care for a diverse patient population
16-week contract with 2 openings
36/48-hour rotation: Work 36 hours one week and 48 the next

What You’ll Do
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.
Assess patients, administer medications, monitor clinical changes, and coordinate care.
Respond to changing patient needs while maintaining safe, high-quality care.
Float to other departments within your competency when needed.
Support flu immunization clinics as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg nursing experience
At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience
Must be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients
Active RN license
Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Flexibility to work nights, days, weekends, and holidays as needed
Availability for up to one on-call shift per weekMust attend scheduled orientation and staff meetings
Important scheduling note: Thanksgiving and Christmas time-off requests cannot be accommodated. Travelers should also be prepared for alternating 36- and 48-hour workweeks.
