Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for an Acute Care Inpatient Oncology unit requiring recent specialty experience and GA or compact RN licensure.
Requirements
Active GA or compact RN license required
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the specialty required
Responsibilities
Acute Care Inpatient Oncology Med/Surg unit
12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, varying 7am-7pm schedule
No on-call responsibilities
Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
Returning permanent staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
RTO must be requested at the time of submission and cannot be requested after an offer is made
