Job description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel position requiring 2+ years of experience and PALS certification.
Requirements
Active OK or compact RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS certification required within 6 months of start date
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
Cerner EMR experience preferred
No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Responsibilities
Med/Surg unit with 34 or 38 beds depending on floor assignment
Patient ratio of 6:1
Night shift, 7p-7a
Floating required
No on-call responsibilities
Uses Cerner EMR
Black scrubs required
Maximum RTO of 4 days/nights per 13-week contract and RTO requests must be less than one week
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
