Job description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float Pool RN with active NH or Compact RN license and 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience for a 12-hour day shift float position.
Requirements
Active NH or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration (temporary license not accepted)
BLS certification required
NIHSS certification required prior to start
ACLS certification preferred
1-2 years minimum Med/Surg experience required
Critical Care RN experience considered if candidate is fluent with Med/Surg ratios and acuity
Must complete a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%
Responsibilities
Float/Resource Pool role covering Tele and Stepdown units
12-hour day shift schedule
May be required to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia and Concord Hospital-Franklin
Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
Weekly orientation provided
Must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for local rate
Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
Three professional references required once committed, including two from leadership
